Sometimes, possibly after docking my laptop or unlocking it, when I maximize a window, it is enlarged a bit more that it should and it either goes over or under the taskbar. If it's over it's annoying because taskbar is hidden. If it's under it's annoying because part of the window is missing.
I guess you are aware of this problem already. Is there a fix for it?

No it doesn't. My screen is split using profiles. Window is maximized correctly if I maximize with shift pressed.

I have the same problem (Windows taskbars, split screen), troubleshooting info is attached. The checkbox was already unchecked. However the windows are usually under the taskbar, can't remember that it was ever above.

So I made some tests these days. I realized that the state of this checkbox doesn't make the difference. But whenever I open the monitor configuration window and hit OK, without making any change, the problem goes away.... until the next time.

Indeed, it does. I also just noticed that the error occured after booting from Hibernation, I'll observe if it's reproducible

Seems to be at least connected to Hibernation for me. Maximized under the taskbar after resuming, and after opening and closing Monitor configuration it worked again.

In my case it happens with simple locking of the screen for a few minutes.

Yes, actually they do. In a couple of minutes even though my power settings are different.

Seems to be fixed in 9.0 Beta 2 (didn't try Beta 1), haven't been able to recreate it yet.

It seems that it doesn't happen as often as before, so I needed some time to reproduce. Here it the info you requested.

Didn't notice before, but just opening and closing the monitor config window fixes the problem. No need to hit ok or apply. Not sure about other windows. Doesn't happen so often anymore but it does happen. Sometimes actually the window is just a little be bigger than it should, so a part of the window which is smaller than the taskbar is hidden behind it.

Ok, so simply opening Monitor Config window doesn't solve the problem. But closing it, even by hitting the X button on the top/right corner, fixes it.
Not sure about other windows yet.

I am having a similar problem as in this thread.
Running 9.7 on Windows 10 1909

I have the multimonitor taskbar enabled. When I disable auto-hide, and when my applications are maximized, instead of the bottom of the application sitting on the top of the taskbar, they are behind it where I cannot access, for example, the Find box in Firefox or the Mute button in Webex because those functions are at the bottom of the maximized window.

I set transparancy to 100%, and when the taskbars changes, I thought that fixed it (Firefox then sat on top). But when I changed from maximixed to window to maximized again Firefox went behind the taskbar again. This seems to happen with all applications, I just give Firefox as an example.

Any suggestions to debug this behavior?

I'm a bit late to the party, but I get this bug every now and then and it's super annoying. Did anyone find a fix in the meantime?

You have to end the DisplayFusion task, or just exit the program. Then restart it (the program).

Also to note, it's not just windows taking their position on top of the taskbar. The current focused window feels like it stuck in the topmost position of the desktop. You can click on another window and switch focus, but the former window will still be topmost layer. Way around this is to keep clicking back and forth between windows. Eventually it'll have focus as well as topmost layer.
