I work on my laptop with a multiple of external displays in combination with multiple desktops. These problems described below only apply when a monitor is connected in extend mode.

After switching desktops multiple times, pressing Win+Tab usually results in one of the following thing:
- Only one monitor will show its open windows, the other monitor(s) act like win+tab was not pressed at all. They can not be interacted with.
- All monitors show their active windows but nothing is clickable, pressing win+tab again usually fixes this.
- All monitors show their active windows but after clicking another window the win+tab menu does not close like normally. Instead the window will open and the menu closes breifly, but opens straight after on some or all of the monitors. The menu is then unclickable and requires multiple win+tab pressed to go away.
- Nothing seems to happen at all, the display fusion taskbars will blink upon clicking and afterwards nothing is clickable at all. No programs respond and instead hidden windows suddensly start showing when clicking. This usually requires windows explorer to be restarted (with only the keyboard as the mouse is useless in this case).

I can recreate the issue fairly easily on this machine and reinstalling both windows and display fusion did not fix it. I made Displayfusion log everything while i recreated one of the scenario's and the log is attached.

I was able to reproduce this issue here and we've added it to our list to fix up. We'll be sure to let you know as soon as we've gotten it all sorted out.

Thanks!

This issue has bugged me for some time now. It happens every first time using Win+Tab, and occationally thereafter. I actually use DF with all options disabled. The only function I use is windows positions via script, so it's not some soecific setting, it's the app itself causing the issues.

@cableghost: Is this still happening with 9.6.1? It was fixed a few versions back, but maybe a Windows update has broken our fix for it.

I am not sure if my problem is related, but on startup explorer.exe crashes and im asked to end the process. It restarts and things are fine.. after turning of displayfusion this has stopped happening. I have also experienced insane graphics lag where i can see my mouse cursor moving around 2-3 minutes after i moved it. i also running wallpaper engine, i dont know if the two are having issues locking up explorer as a result? But the last few weeks i have had explorer crashing on me and now while not using display fusion it's not happening.

It could be that DisplayFusion and Wallpaper Engine aren't playing well together. If you exit Wallpaper Engine and use DisplayFusion, do these issues still occur?

I may have resolved the issue... I stepped back my graphics card version and havent had the issue. If it happens w/ this ver, I'll submit the troublshooting report.

Do you find issues w/ specific GPU's? I have an AMD RX550.

It happens every now and then, yeah, though not frequent enough for us to keep a list. Good to know though! If you run into it again, please let me know.

Thanks!
