Hi,
I have the multitask-bar featured enable and within the last week or so. The taskbar will flash on my second monitor which cause the mouse to be pulled back into the main monitor. The problem will continue until I shut down Display Fusion, but when I open Display Fusion I lose the second monitor taskbar. I have attack the log file. P.S. this has happened before almost a year ago and it was corrected with the new version of Display Fusion. Please let me know what you find.

Thanks,

TN

Could you attach a full debug log? Here are the steps:
  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
  • Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab and attach the file here
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

Hi,
Sorry I am not ignoring you, but lately it seems that the issues hasn't been showing up. I have kept the log on and will email it to you as soon as it happens again.

Thanks.

Hello,
Just when I thought the issues was fixed, I came back from lunch to find the taskbar flashing again. Please see attached log file. This happened at around 12:56 PM Jan 8, 2018. Also, a quick note. I notice it happens after my screen saver turns off when I move the mouse.

Thanks! When this happens again, can you check the Windows Task Manager to see if "DFSSaver.scr" is still listed, and if it is, does ending that process stop the taskbar flashing?

Hi,
I think I may have figured it out. I unchecked "Use Preview Mode for this screen saver" and that seem to do the trick. I think that the last update automatically rechecks this options in the Screen Saver. Once unchecked, problem solved.

Thanks.

Awesome, glad to hear that helped! There is a bug where the DFSSaver.scr process doesn't fully shutdown when the screen saver exits sometimes, so I've added your info to that ticket as well.

Thanks!

We've just released a new DisplayFusion beta version and this issue should be all fixed up. Please let us know if you run into any trouble after updating.

Thanks!
