Hello!

Is it possible to hide from DisplayFusion taskbar suspended apps (check attachment)? They are not visible on Windows 10 default taskbar, but only on DisplayFusion taskbar.

About Windows 10 Start Menu, it keeps only showing on default screen. Is there any progress on this matter?

Thank you in advance. :)

PS. Currently using DisplayFusion PRO 7.2 (Beta 9).

Is this an app that was minimized, or closed? I've tested with the Mail and Calendar universal apps, and they seem to get removed correctly from the taskbar if I close them.

Hey!

It was in "Suspended' mode, by Task Manager details tab... So i can´t state that it was closed, neither minimized. :)

Based on Windows default taskbar, it wasn´t minimized, because it wasn´t showing there.

Ok, thanks! I've run into this here now a couple of times too. Not sure how we're going to fix it yet, but we've put it on our list :)

This awkward behavior keeps happening on Windows 10 Pro (official release) and DF 7.2 (last release) after some afk time. And still the apps open as suspended.

We've actually just fixed this here internally, and it will be included in the next beta :)

Oh! That´s really nice, Keith! :)

I tried a Compatibility rule, disabling TitleBar Buttons for ApplicationFrameHost.exe, but it didn't work here.

Thank you!

Ok, no worries, we've just posted 7.3 Beta 1 anyways. Please let me know if you still have any trouble after updating :)

Could this same problem have resurfaced with the 8.1.1 version of DisplayFusion?

Never had this issue before nor have I heard about it, but on my computer if I keep it idle long enough 3 apps will start: Mail (in some kind of broken mode, the app is all white except for the title bar and stretches fully from left edge of screen 2 to the right edge of screen 3), Photos and Settings.
They're not started at the same time, but with significant delays.

I just read about this while googling for the issue of random Windows 10 apps opening unexpectedly.

Do they seem to open right after minimizing another application to the taskbar?
