This has been a recurring issue lately where upon starting up the DisplayFusion wallpapers are misaligned (red line added to show 3 monitors, which are a 1080p and dual 4K monitors). Exiting and restarting DisplayFusion seems to fix it.

It's most likely that Windows is messing with the wallpaper on startup. When this happens, if you just open the DisplayFusion wallpaper window and click apply, does that also fix it?

Clicking "apply" by itself does not fix it, but hitting "apply" and then "okay" seems to fix it.

Ok, thanks! Sometimes Windows will mess with the wallpaper for whatever reason, usually, DisplayFusion should auto-fix it after a minute or two of starting up.

One thing you can do is make sure that the wallpaper settings aren't syncing with any other computers. You can disable wallpaper syncing in Windows like so:

  • Open the Windows 10 Settings app
  • Click the Accounts option
  • Click "Sync your settings" in the left pane
  • Disable the "Theme" option
