Never mind, I misunderstood the Workaround (it was for DisplayFusion settings, not Windows settings!)

I do hope though that this can be properly fixed soon - it's annoying to be forced to display every window on every monitor on my primary taskbar in order to get Virtual Desktops to work properly.
