I switch to Chrome 69 with the new MD UI but found a problem with the titlebar button.
If there is only some tabs that are not enough to fill the titlebar, the button is at the right location just right of the minimum icon(I use offset 30). But once there are many tabs that the titlebar is full, the button will show up in wrong place(I enabled don't hide titlebar button in advanced settings).

What screen resolution is your monitor? I'll test this out here with the same setup.

This Chrome window is on a 1920x1200 16:10 screen. If you have only 3-4 tabs that's will be fine. Once you have like about 10 or more tabs the button will change to another location.
