Hi,

I am not sure if this is possible and just wondering out aloud. Can we use DisplayFusion to launch kind of an active desktop like screen saver and when we move the mouse or keyboard it asks for the password (screen saver unlock password). I know there are lot of software for locking and provide this functionality but was just wondering if it can be done with DisplayFusion?

Thanks

System Info:

Display Fusion 8.1.2 Pro
Windows 10 Pro x64

Unfortunately the DisplayFusion Screen Saver doesn't have that functionality. What would the advantage be to doing that instead of just enabling the Windows option to require login after the screen saver exits?

I understand where you coming from when you ask that. However, here is my scenario:

I have a small home lab and I am running couple of VMs and other systems in it. I have PRTG (network monitoring system) setup for home environment, which monitors CPU % usage, HDD usage & other statistics etc. My main HUB/Desktop has a secondary display which keeps on continuously display different stats. I am attaching a screenshot of a similar display from PRTG for ease of understanding.

Now I want my screen to keep on showing different system and network stats as you are viewing it live but when you move the mouse or keyboard it asks for password, to prevent messing with the screen and system. I know different from the purpose of DisplayFusion but I use other functions of DF so was wondering if this was possible as well :)

Ah ok! Thanks for clarifying :)

I've added this to our feature request list, and if we're able to implement it in a future version, we'll be sure to let you know.
