I'm using Win 7 Pro 64bit and when I empty the trash or try to delete an item on the desktop the confirmation folder splits between my two monitors.

I don't know how to make those secondary windows behave with triggers. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, -Sam-

That's really strange! Does it do that even when DisplayFusion isn't running?

I have the same problem... in fact when you delete any icon, or empty trash the dialog displays in the middle. This is using an RDP account accessing a spanned paid version of DisplayFusion on the remote. Any ideas? Have three remotes doing this... 3 thin clients accessing 3 remote computers, each one different and each one paid versions of DisplayFusion. We are using Win 7 Pro on the 3 remote computers and the 3 thin clients are using WES7 (Windows 7 Embedded Standard).

I just realized that I posted this again under another account. No, without DisplayFusion, it centers on the left screen.

Do you have any triggers, or window management movement options enabled? Thanks!

I have a trigger for one program, for TSSCAN (By Terminal Works)... it's designed to allow scanning remotely over an RDP. I simply tell it to center in the current window... it's an .exe file located in the Program folder and it works fine. It tries to go between the two monitors and then snaps to the center left screen.

Let me go over this again with a little different example. I have the remote computer with two monitors spanned and DisplayFusion installed. My local computer is a Dell Thin Client that will display two monitors. I have 4 identical brand and model of monitors. Two at the remote location and two at the host (local) location. And I have DisplayFusion setup to split the spanned monitors in two (2:1 or 1:2, can't recall). So let's say, I want to delete a desktop icon. When I click delete the confirmation windows appears split between the two screens. One half is on the far right of the left monitor screen and the other half is the far left of the right monitor screen.

I would simply like the confirmation window to appear on the monitor on the left in the middle of the screen.

In case I'm mistaken about the setup, I should say that I have DisplayFusion installed on the remote computer and not on the local computer?

Thanks for any help you can give.

It sounds like Windows isn't aware of the splits, so it's just centering the dialog in the large spanned monitor. You can use the "move newly opened application windows to the current monitor" to help with this, but it will affect all application windows on the system, which might not be desirable.
