This is mainly for the developers of DisplayFusion. However, any input is appreciated.

After Playing around with Functions and Triggers for a while, even building a few of my own functions I have noticed there are quite a few that act as toggle functions. For example the "Pause Desktop Wallpaper Slideshow". I was hoping to have functions added as a separated "turn on, turn off" to allow more control over certain things. especially when it comes in to play with triggers. As well as the possibility of adding a function per monitor selection, for even more control.

If possible, for those that wish to create their own functions, to somehow allow access to the coding of your built in functions to allow someone to see the basis of how they work and build off of them. This is how I built a few of my own, using download functions others had created.

The background animation setting could also use some tweaking. Simply checking the "Ignore wallpaper change timer" makes any slideshow clip set up quickly cycle through the shorter looped files. I would suggest a "play for XX time, then switch" type of setting. If the file includes sound of any type it is also played, with as far as i have discovered no way to stop it.

Speaking of animations, screensaver settings have long been forgotten, most people have the default windows ribbons. If you are willing to add or build upon said settings, or even allow selected animation settings, like those used for the background, it will allow additional customization for a screensaver.

All in all this is an amazing program that gives more control over setting than I have the brain to use. 10/10 would buy again.

Thanks for the feedback!

For the functions, if you can let us know which features you want to turn on/off instead of toggle, we should be able to add scripting functions for that.

For the video wallpapers, if the "Ignore wallpaper change timer" option is disabled, it should play each video for the interval you set on the main wallpaper window before loading the next video.

For the screen savers, are you wanting to use videos/gifs as a screen saver?

Thanks!

So far the only functions would be for pausing / starting wallpaper slideshow or animations, as those are ones I'm currently using in some of the triggers I've built. I'm sure there will be more i may find, which is why i suggested to allow someone to view and build of the code of the ones there already.

The wallpaper change timer disabled sadly doesn't cycle through wallpapers as you said it should. I have tried using different file types and different length of video clips and gifs but they do not change after the set time. It may simply be a bug on my end. Wait, no. It's working again. some of the files just blink a few times after changing. looks like is was just something wrong on my end. A few expanded settings, say for sound disabling might still be a good idea though. and how about disabling the animation wil maximized window to save on computing power.

yes, i would like to set video clips and gifs as a screensaver. maybe even cycle through entire screensaver types as an option.

Ok, thanks! I've added these to our feature request list. Regarding disabling audio for the video wallpapers, you can do this now actually. In the Wallpaper window, click Wallpaper Settings, and there's an option there called "Mute all audio for the 'My Videos' Wallpaper Source"

would love to see on the search for wallpaper in which you want a slideshow a small checkbox to mark those you want to see on your slideshow, and those you do NOT want to see. Currently the selection I want to see, is being added in photos that have nothing to do with the subject matter I fed in. I cannot stop them, and they show up 3-4 times per day, and is very frustrating, then you have to stop what your doing and click next wallpaper and it changes both wallpapers at the same time.
