Hi,
I'm new to DisplayFusion and really love it so far.
I have a 3 monitor setup and am using the DF per-taskbar feature
Sometimes, such as when installing software, when the software installer finishes the taskbar on my primary monitor moves offscreen. I have the taskbar at the bottom, and it is taller than normal because I use a row under the taskbar buttons to show some taskbar toolbars.
Once this happens, I only see a few pixels of the taskbar remaining at the bottom of the screen. I can't drag or resize it. The only thing I can do is kill Explorer and start it again.

You can try to repro by installing Filezilla, a free FTP client. At the end of the installation I experience this issue.

Thanks,
-Steve

Could you attach a copy of your troubleshooting info? Here are the steps:
  • Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Copy to Clipboard" button
  • Paste the text into a text file (please don't paste the text directly into your reply, the formatting gets garbled and makes it difficult to parse)
  • Reply with the file attached

Also, does this still happen if you exit DisplayFusion before running the installer?

Hi Keith,

Here's the log.
The next time I run the installer I will try to exit DF first
Installers are not the only place it has happened, it is just the easiest to repro (with that particular installer too)

Thanks Steve! I don't see anything suspicious in the troubleshooting info. Please let me know how it works out with DisplayFusion disabled and we'll go from there :)

Thanks!

I just installed an update to one of the apps whose installer triggers this problem (FileZilla), but first I exited DF.

The taskbar behaved properly.

Please give it a try. You should be able to repro quite easy.

Thanks!

Just tested with the FileZilla installer and didn't run into any issues :(

If you start DisplayFusion and run the FileZilla installer again, can you reproduce this every time you run the FileZilla installer?
