Hello there...First off, wonderful program you all have put together...very useful. I'm running 2x 1920x1200 in portrait mode and am wanting to snap windows on the vertical plane instead of the default horizontal. I've got location buttons set-up to do this, but would be nice to simply snap windows...then snap within those windows. I've searched some discussion posts here and did not see this explicitly mentioned....perhaps it has and I just missed it or the ability to set this up exists but I lack the know-how to do so. Thanks all...keep up the good work.

Just to clarify, by snapping vertically, you mean sizing the window to the top half or bottom half of the screen?

Thanks!

Yes...by default when a monitor is in portrait windows snapping still wants to snap from side-to-side instead of top and bottom of the screen. If snapped from side to side it is a rather thin and unusable view. I am wanting to snap top and bottom...so you are correct in your assumption....thanks.

Ok, just wanted to make sure I understood correctly :)

We don't have any plans to make add this functionality using the mouse, but you can do it with the built-in DisplayFusion HotKeys as follows, and they can also be assigned to DisplayFusion TitleBar Buttons.

CTRL+WIN+Up Arrow: Moves and sizes the window to the top half of the screen
CTRL+WIN+Down Arrow: Moves and sizes the window to the bottom half of the screen

I've got a monitor in Portrait mode, and I use these HotKeys a lot :)

Thanks!

They're still there, but we had to remove the default hotkeys because Windows reserves those for itself now.

You can assign new hotkeys (like Ctrl + Alt + Up/Down) on the Settings > Functions tab. The functions you're looking for are called "Size and Move Window to Top/Bottom Side"

Hope that helps!

I tried adding the keystroke "CTRL-ALT-WIN + Up" to "Size and Move Window to Top Side of Monitor" but no luck. Tried multiple times with different "desired key" and "modifiers". Still not luck.
I'm running a fresh install of Windows 10. Any suggestions?

@Mike: Do you get an error when you try to set those key combinations?
