My new Monitor is a Dell 24 in widescreen. (The second monitor is also a Dell 24") DisplayFusion shows the two monitors and has a wallpaper picture on each. But I can't change Monitor 1 to monitor 2 ... it keeps reverting. So the only way to get my mouse from the right-hand monitor to the left is to move the mouse to the right of the right-hand screen.
When applying a new monitor configuration, there's a prompt that asks to keep the changes, and it has a countdown timer to revert back in case something went wrong. Can you check to see if that prompt is maybe opening behind another window?

I didn't see a prompt, it is not behind another window.
Ok, could you try enabling the "Monitor Configuration: Don't Show Confirmation Prompt" option in the Settings > Advanced Settings window, then try changing the monitor settings again?

Somehow, I got it working, but, as you can see in the attachment, my left-hand screen is still no. 2. I've got all my icons on screen 2, but screen 2 should be screen 1.
It's not possible to change the monitor ID numbers themselves. As long as it's set as Primary, and in the right position to match the monitor layout on your actual desk, you should be good to go. Is it causing any problems still?

You can change your monitor ID numbers by unplugging them from your GPU, look at which ports you have your monitors in and reverse the connections one at a time. Plug the one you want to be your main monitor into the GPU and restarting Windows. Check to see if its labelled No1 then plug your secondary screen in.
