I had to restart my machine earlier this week. When i got back logged in I had lost my wallpaper and task-bar shortcut settings. I rely heavily on those convenient links to open apps. I do not feel like rebuilding them all. what do?

Could you zip up your backups folder and attach it? I'll have a look to see what I can find out.

If the forum attachments aren't working correctly, can you try emailing the zip file to me at support@displayfusion.com?

The most recent backup (DisplayFusion Backup (2017-11-15 @ 11-07, 9.1.0.0, RTCITSOE3D).reg) seems to have all of your shortcuts in it. What happens when you try to restore it with the "Restore Settings" button on the Options tab? Do you get any errors at all?

No errors, just nothing gets restored. Wallpapers are black too.

well ill be darn. I just stopped all the processes. Opened up my Admin Command process and started the DisplayFusion.exe process elevated (it hit me after talking to you that perhaps the reg setting could not load due to the stupid permissions issues on my PC).
The shortcuts are restored, and i know what to do next time.
Thank you for your time sir! I got my entire company the greenlight for triple 25" monitors at high DPI when we move to a new building. I recommend to thousands of users your software for mulit-mon management, so look forward to it in a couple years man!

Thanks again! back to work for me.
