Is there a way to lock the cursor to one monitor and prevent windows from wrapping onto the other monitor when I drag them around but still be able to move between the 2 using hotkeys?

Edit: oops, just found the cursor locking functions, should of looked harder before posting. Would still be good to know if there is a way to stop the windows wrapping across when I drag them about? This is mostly a problem because I am using UI scaling on the second screen and it makes the windows go really large if they start wrapping onto it while I'm moving them. Though I can kind of work around it by placing the second monitors screen-space above that of the primary monitors.

There isn't currently a way to prevent windows from moving to another monitor when dragging, no. Your workaround of positioning the second monitor on top or below in the configuration is likely the best and easiest solution :)
