I recently purchased the Humble Lifehacker Software Bundle, and I also have a Steam account. I'm wondering whether redeeming using a license key, or a Steam key is a better deal, or whether there is a difference at all besides medium of redemption.

Also, what license is either key valid for from the bundle? I can't seem to find that info anywhere on this forum or the Humble Bundle website.

Lastly, what happens if I link a Steam key with my Binary Fortress account, as opposed to linking the standalone license key from the bundle instead?

The linking is just to help us find your key when troubleshooting license issues, etc.

If you choose the non-Steam key, it's a single machine license that can be installed using the installer from our website.

The Steam license can be used on multiple machines, as long as you're the primary user of the machine and can install Steam on it, as DisplayFusion needs to be installed through Steam for that license type.

Hope that helps clear it up!
