I've found consistently, at least for me, that wallpapers are either a hit or a miss. I'd like to suggest a feature where the end-user can say right-click popup and have two additional options for thumbs up or thumbs down.

Thumbs Up/Smile Face: Would SAVE the image locally in at user-defined location. The end-user could select in DF's configuration to mix into the wallpaper thread "saved" thumbs up wallpapers, with perhaps a configurable interval specification, or where DF only selected from the "saved" pool.

Thumbs Down/Sad Face: Would immediately get the next wallpaper and display it.

Ideally there would be an enhancement to the current wallpaper engine where it would cache the next end-user "n" number of wallpapers as depending on numerous factors downloading can take sometime. This cache could be utilized when no Internet connection existed.
