On one computer I use Matrox TripleHead2Go to output the video to 3 monitors (each of which is the same size so there are three 1280x1024 monitors). By using this Matrox device the computer thinks there is only 1 monitor connected even though it is expanded over three screens. Can DisplayFusion work in these set-ups with the Matrox TripleHead2Go device on three monitors of the same size? Thanks

Some of the DisplayFusion features will work fine (TitleBar Buttons, Functions/HotKeys, Window Snapping, etc). However, the multi-monitor wallpaper, taskbars, and screen savers won't work correctly, as DisplayFusion can only see it as one large display as well.

It's something that we may support in the future though, so I'll add your info to the feature request, and if we're able to, we'll be sure to let you know.

Thanks!

We've just released DisplayFusion 5.1 Beta 17, and it now includes support for splitting Nvidia Surround/AMD Eyefinity/Matrox TripleHead2Go setups so that each monitor can have separate taskbars, wallpaper, etc.

After updating to the beta, you can configure the splits using the DisplayFusion Monitor Configuration window.

If you get a chance to try it out, please let us know how it goes.

Thanks!

I hate to revive a dead thread but I have a very pertinent and related follow-up question. I have the exact same hardware configuration with a TripleHead2Go.

Is it possible for DisplayFusion to *only* display the taskbar on a single monitor (the middle one in my case) rather than replicating it to all of the monitors?

Sure is! Just right-click the taskbars on the side monitors and navigate to Multi-Monitor Taskbar > Position > Disabled.

Hope that helps!
