Hey, I've been using DisplayFusion with no issues for years but I recently switched one of my monitors out and since then it refuses to set the wallpaper to the image I choose, only displays a black background for some reason, thanks for any help!

Edit: I've tried re-installing/uninstalling, rebooting, etc. No change, just right-clicking the image and using Windows to set it as a wallpaper works fine, just not through DisplayFusion

Edit 2: Just realised the wallpaper still works on the lock screen as well, but the desktop is still black

I'm having the same problem. I can see the sources to change wallpaper but clicking on them does not register. All I have is black background.

This started when I reinstalled after a upgrade to Win 10.

Could you attach a debug log? Here are the steps:
  • On the Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal"
  • Try to apply the wallpaper
  • Send us the DisplayFusion.log and DebugInfo.html files (can be found by clicking the Open Log button on the Troubleshooting tab)
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

Thanks!

@Filleted: If you disable the "Use transitions when changing" option in the Wallpaper Settings window, does that make any difference?

@William: If you do this, it should fix your issue:
  • Open Control Panel > Internet Options
  • Click the Security tab
  • Click "Reset all zones to default"

Hello. I apparently have the same problem, but it seems that the solutions reported here are not effective in my case. What can I do?

Update:
ok, apparently I solved the problem by deleting the saved profiles. I have no idea how this solved the problem. I just hope don't come back in the future

After searching the problems I am having caused by DisplayFusion, I realized the same problems asked over the past 12 years are still occuring. Nothing has been addressed.

Could you send me a debug log? Here are the steps:

  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
  • Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Reply with the file attached
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log
