What happened? I can't read my menus! I did not update or upgrade. This change happened seemingly overnight. Any suggestions? Attached are screenshots of the application and the system tray context menus.

It's possible that the English language files may have gotten corrupted for some reason. Could you try changing it back to English by right-clicking the tray icon, then using the Language sub-menu (fourth from the bottom) to change it back? I've attached a screenshot for reference.

If you get an error when trying to switch to English, just download DisplayFusion from our site and re-install it (no need to uninstall first). That should re-install the language files and then you should be able to switch it.

Please let me know if you still run into any trouble at all.

Thanks!

Hey! This just happened to me. I, too, read this and it worked. How strange that this has happened for more than 5 years!
Thanks for the info.
After a while, the screen saver (mystify) stops, the screen goes black, and when I try to click to get to the live screen, it remains black and I have to reboot. HELP!
I can't tell if this is additional information or will replace what's above. But, I unchose Mystify and and chose No screen saver and it all seems to work. In a week — if there is no further black screen — I will pick another screen saver, see what happens, and let you know.

FYI - this just happened on my machine today. I upgraded to Windows 11 yesterday. Language had been in English. But today, it was in Korean (I think). Thanks for the information, I was able to set it back to English without a problem (and without having to resort to calling friends for on-the-fly language translation).

Just passing on the info in case it is related to Win11.

I love this product, BTW. So versatile and comprehensive. Indispensable if you have multiple monitors of different sizes (or a laptop in the mix). I now use an ultra-widescreen, and the ability to have three separated task bars with their own apps makes such a difference for usability. The paid version is worth every Won, I mean dollar.
