Hi.

I have various monitor profiles that had been working but since v9.3, are no longer. There's no profile recognized, but I can set one. I get the feeling you're working on this issue.

I notice that when DisplayFusion starts at system reboot, the services start, but there's no icon in the system tray. Consequently, it's rather difficult to access the controls. If I manually start the program, the icon appears. Any ideas?

DisplayFusion Pro v9.3 on Win 7 Pro SP1 64-bit system.

Thanks in advance!

Is the DisplayFusion tray icon being moved to the overflow instead? It's strange that it would be running without the tray icon.

For your monitor profiles, can you try re-creating them and re-saving them and see if that helps the issue? Thanks!

No, the DF icon is not going to system tray overflow. It simply does not display until I re-run the executable.

As for having to re-re-re-recreate my monitor profiles, *that* is a non-solution. I have had to do that at least 5 times using DisplayFusion over the past year, and I'm getting a bit tired of having to do so. My monitor setups have not changed, yet each time there's a new glitch in DF preventing monitor profiles from working properly (much like triggers), I'm told "try recreating them and see if that helps."

I hope you have a different, more helpful suggestion.

Thanks in advance.

Your original post mentioned you're able to load the Monitor Profiles I think? You shouldn't need to re-create them then, just load them and click the Save button again to overwrite the old ones with the new data.

They were re-saved when v9.3 installed. But the profiles still do not auto-detect, and sometimes the DF icon is not in the system tray. The program is running, but the icon is not available to click in the system tray or the overflow.

When the tray icon is missing, which DisplayFusion processes are listed on the Windows Task Manager > Details tab?
