Just updated and I noticed that all non focused windows including the task bar are dimmed.
Screen shots are attached. The one with dimmed window is with DF running.
Please let me know if you want more info. Running on latest Win 10 x64.

Is Monitor Fading enabled on the Settings > Monitor Fading tab?

Monitor fading was enabled. I had not selected it so the beta 5 installer must have set it. I upgraded to 9 and is all ok.
