After years of using DF smoothly, the latest 9.3 upgrade doesn't appear to play well with my Chrome browser (Version 67.0.3396.99 (Official Build) (64-bit)). It was, in fact, identified by Chrome as such. I began experiencing a multitude of "Chrome is not responding" error messages after upgrading DF, until I received a Chrome error message telling me that it was having conflicts with DF and recommended I uninstall same, which I did. Problems cleared.

I will return to DF when I can, but I can't have my main browser tangled up, for now. Thought you'd like to know.

Could you try installing DisplayFusion again, and on the DisplayFusion Settings > Compatibility tab, add a rule for Chrome? In the rule, enable the "Disable application hooks" option, then restart both DisplayFusion and Chrome.

Keith,
That seems to have done the trick. Many thanks!

Keith,
I'm sorry to say that I am still having some Display Fusion/Chrome issues, though they are not manifesting themselves in outright Chrome error messages, as before. With DF reinstalled, Chrome is experiencing frequent "is not responding errors." I haven't uninstalled DF, but when I exit DF these glitches don't seem to happen.
Any thoughts?

Can you try creating a compatibility rule for Chrome where you tell DisplayFusion not to load the hooks for this process? I'm interested to see if avoiding the hooks will solve the Chrome issue. Thanks!

Hi Jon,
That was what Keith suggested. I did so and the Chrome error did go away, but the browser remains oddly sluggish, until I take DF down. Also, I have rebooted a couple of times with no chg.

That's strange that disabling the hooks doesn't fix the issue completely. When you exit DisplayFusion does Chrome speed up immediately or does it take some time?
