This is likely a basic FAQ, however I did not find it in reviewing a couple of pages of discussions.

Is it possible to set customer backgrounds for various virtual desktops in Windows 10? [...as well as for multiple monitors?]

There isn't currently a way to do this, but we'll definitely let you know if/when we add it!

Thanks!

Thank you, BTW some OSS which partially implements the desired result:

Just chiming in to say I would also love to see this added.
I can set the various virtual desktop backgrounds via the app I am using
https://github.com/sdias/win-10-virtual-desktop-enhancer
but I enjoy the multi monitor auto change wallpaper feature so would love to see a way to auto update all of my desktops

Hello,

I've been a happy customer for a long while, I've recently started making use of W10's virtual desktops and it would mean a lot to have some sort of indicator that shows on which I am. The most basic seems to have different wallpaper/solid color per virtual desktop.

I've searched around and the tools that refer to that are not working for me (w10 updated to latest). I've seen several requests for this from DisplayFusion, which seems logical, since it does have a wallpaper manager. The requests date back to 3 years.

Is there any ETA for this function?

We don't have any ETA on this yet, no. We will be sure to post an update if/when we implement this functionality.

Thanks!

Thanks Keith,

is there any place in this website where users get to vote for things and you prioritize based on that? If yes, can we see the priority list somewhere?

We keep our feature tracking list internal, and we add votes to the existing requests each time someone comments on a discussions topic for it or emails in about it :)
