I can't seem to find anywhere to add a small icon to use other than the defaults which are quite limited.

An easy implementation of this would be just the ability to add 2 or 3 characters through a basic GUI to start, as to work around any alpha channel issues and so forth.

The end goal here would be to make titlebar buttons that are labeled with a clearer indication of a buttons function, at the moment I am just using the 1, 2, 3, 4, etc buttons as place holders.

Let me know if I missed something!

Thanks for adding the window "finder" I suggested a while ago, its working great and seems to have snuck into many useful spots :)

The TitleBar Button sets are just folders with PNG files in the following folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\DisplayFusion\TitleBarButtons\Buttons. You can add custom icons to one of the existing folders, or you can create your own folder for custom ones :)

Glad to hear you like the window picker as well, it was a great idea!

Which always on top bug? The Windows 10 one that occurs when the taskbars are on the side?

Not sure, but it was stickied here :"Windows not coming to front when clicked (this is a Windows 10 bug triggered by any program that uses TOPMOST on its windows). Workaround: Enable the "SetWindowPos: Disallow TopMost Calls" option in Settings > Advanced Settings."

That bug :)

I know it says its technically win10, but lets be real, the issue resolves if you cut off DF, yall can fix this :)

I set the advanced option which made (most of?) the always on top button not work which is annoying in its own right, I set always on top through that proggram's setttings but it would be nice to use the titlebar buttons again.

The issue is with using SetWindowPos to set windows as topmost, so the best solution we can do from our end is that Advanced Setting. Microsoft has to fix the underlying issue with that API function in order for it to get any better :(
