Hi, was there any documentation on scripting?

I'm relatively fluent in C# (though been a few years)! I just want to create a basic script that changes monitor profile to a specific one, runs an application (if it's not already open) and makes that application the active window.

I could probably bluff my way through it, but just wanted to see if there was a list of functions at least, and documentation on best practices at most. Thank you
