I've been using Display Fusion triggers to send programs to a specific monitor when they're opened. So far it's worked for every standard program i've tried.
But it cant seem to control apps installed from the Microsoft Store in Windows 10.
I set the triggers up the same way as i did with the programs, but they dont seem to work with anything installed from the microsoft store. Those apps still just open on my main monitor. I can still move those apps to the window manually, but thats no what i wanted.
I'm using the trial version of Display Fusion, v9.4.3

Can anybody verify this for me? Or offer a workaround?

Bump.
This seems like a pretty big issue, if Display Fusion cant control these apps...

Responded via your support email already, but posting here in case anyone else comes across this thread:

The Universal apps actually run in a container process for the window. Could you make these two changes to the Trigger rule?

  • Process Filename: set it to *ApplicationFrameHost.exe
  • Window Text: set it to the name of the application, e.g. Spotify

Hope that helps! Please let me know if you still run into any trouble at all.

This worked perfectly! Thank you so much!

For anyone else with this problem, i will just add that the path to ApplicationFrameHost is C:\Windows\System32\ApplicationFrameHost.exe, and the name of the application under Window Text was case sensitive.

Thanks again!
