When using screen-padding, there is an annoying bug, that prevents windows that get un-maximized by dragging not being resized to the original position.

Reproduction:
Set screen-padding (I used 42px bottom padding)
Open Windows Explorer in normal state (neither minimized nor maximized)
For testing purpose you should make it much smaller than the full screen size
Maximize through double click (on the window's top bar)
Drag the window to center of the screen which will automatically have the window being unmaximized

Actual behavior: The window wont be in maximized-state anymore, however it keeps its actual (full) size.

Expected behavior: The window should become un-maximized AND get resized to its original position.

I really enjoy the padding-feature, which allows me to add custom bars and panels with other tools such as rainmeter. But this bug is too annoying for me as a developer using my PC all day to have me using screen-padding furthermore.

If you know a workaround, please let me know. If you can't reproduce, please let me know either.

Cheers,

Ah yep, we hook the restore when it's done using the Maximize button, or double-clicking the titlebar, but it looks like maybe the drag down behaves differently. I've added this to our list to fix up :)

Thanks!

Hi Keith, thanks for your engagement! Is that list public - or: how do I know when this is fixed?

It's not public, but we always follow-up when a feature request or bug fix is implemented :)
