I recently bought Windows 10 and have been having a few problems with DisplayFusion because of it. I never had these problems with Windows 7.

The first problem happens when I'm running a game and try to alt-tab. It doesn't matter whether it's fullscreen, windowed, or borderless windowed, and it doesn't matter if I'm in the game or not. The DisplayFusion alt-tab comes up but so does the default Windows 10 alt-tab for a split second. Then as I tab through my windows, it keeps switching between the two, back and forth.

For example, if I'm running Final Fantasy XIV and Chrome and I alt-tab out of the game, it'll show FFXIV and Chrome with it selected Chrome. But when I press tab, the DisplayFusion alt-tab will disappear and Windows 10 alt-tab comes up with it selected on FFXIV. The same happens in reverse when alt-tabbing from Chrome as well.

The second problem is much more simple. I have the option set to show the taskbar in front of fullscreen applications when they lose focus but it doesn't work when I'm on a program on my second monitor. I'm not sure if that's how that feature works or not, but I don't remember it being a problem when using Windows 7.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

EDIT: Alright well, this is weird. I figured out what was causing the first problem. It was Fraps. For whatever reason if you're running a game and you alt-tab a bunch while Fraps is open, it causes the problem. It also seems to be connected to moving your mouse while alt-tabbing as well. I've been able to recreate the issue four times now by just closing Fraps and re-opening it. This did not fix the second problem however.

EDIT2: Quick update on the second problem. I ran the game on my second monitor (the one with the DisplayFusion taskbar) and alt-tabbed to Chrome on my primary monitor. The taskbar showed over the game. I'm guessing the problem has something to do with the default Windows 10 taskbar. Is there a way to replace your primary monitor taskbar with a DisplayFusion one?

I'll see if I can reproduce that Alt+Tab issue with Fraps here, thanks for the heads up :)

Regarding the taskbar, it is possible, though not supported. If you want to try it out, the steps are here: https://www.displayfusion.com/Discussions/View/anyway-to-make-the-df-pro-taskbar-override-the-windows-taskbar/?ID=3d0cad5b-2ab0-4b2d-acbc-cd2b45389c38#6

We plan to make it a proper feature in the future, but it still needs some work and a lot of testing :)
