Here are the steps to reproduce:
  • Open the calculator app in Windows 10
  • Move it to a second monitor
  • The calculator entry in the taskbar will show in both the first and second monitor taskbar

Clearly it should only show in the second monitor when I move it :P

I believe that is still a known Windows 10 bug - all Windows Store apps show on the primary taskbar currently.

Oh, I thought it was supposed to be fixed in 8.0 Final. Nevermind then

When you do, you may want to correct the DF Taskbar to show the correct icon - try opening Display Settings and compare the Windows taskbar icon to the DF Taskbar icon.

Is there any headway into fixing this bug? Current version 9.3 still has all Windows Apps (calculator, weather, mail) showing on both taskbars when window is only open on the secondary monitor.

No updates unfortunately. We've added it to our list of non-fixable issues: https://www.displayfusion.com/Discussions/View/windows-1011-known-issues/?ID=e71e1f5e-9e07-4f7d-b179-22253db2c30f
